Craig and Christy Henkelman
Craig and Christy launched Gateway City Church in Spruce Grove, Alberta in 2002. They have a vision to build a church, focused on relationship with people and with Jesus Christ.
Craig has a vision for reaching into our community with the love and passion of Jesus Christ. Jesus loved therefore He gave. As the Senior Pastor, Craig is responsible for the overall church vision, including leadership, preaching, teaching, and building external relationships.
Christy works in the church office part time and full time at home as a wife and mother. She has been involved in a wide variety of church ministries including a women's daybreak small group. Christy's has a real heart to give to those around her through patoral care and intercession.
Craig and Christy are active within their community of Spruce Grove and participate in many events with their 4 children: Nicole, Kirsten, Bryce and Justin.
